About The Practice:
AcuHealth LLC is dedicated to providing excellence in acupuncture in the metro Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky area.  We have assisted many individuals in re-establishing health, balance and harmony within their bodies.  Our practice is founded on the belief that individuals deserve effective holistic health care alternatives, and we treat our patients with integrity and conscientiousness.  Our acupuncturist works in tandem with medical professionals of other modalities, both Western and Eastern, to make a truly holistic healthcare option available to our clients.
Insurance:
A growing number of insurance companies will reimburse for acupuncture treatments.  Consult your insurer for the terms of coverage on your policy.  However, full payment is due at the time of each treatment.  A receipt will be given after each treatment for patients to submit for insurance reimbursement.

Payment methods:
We accept checks and cash.

Confidentiality:
Patient confidentiality as required by law is maintained at all times.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.  Missed appointments count as cancellations.  For this reason, we suggest that all patients arrive 10 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment time.

Please keep in mind that we have reserved your scheduled appointment time for you, and no one else.  It is not possible for us to re-fill your reserved time slot without at least 24 hours advance notice.  Accordingly, patients are responsible for paying the cost of any scheduled appointments that are missed or cancelled without at least 24 hours advance notice.

Treatment Suggestions:
To get the most from an acupuncture treatment, it is suggested that you try and eat lightly and avoid vigorous exercise and stressful situations before and after treatment.  Common immediate responses to treatment include feeling relaxed, tired or a bit spacey.  These are signs of energy shifting in your body, and it is good to allow it to happen.  If possible, wear loose, comfortable clothing, and no scented products to the treatment.  For more information, please consult our downloadable Treatment Guide.

New Patient Information - Acupuncture:
Prior to your first acupuncture appointment at AcuHealth LLC, please print out and complete the following two forms, and bring them with you at your initial visit:You may also find it helpful to download and review the following informational guides prior to your initial appointment:New Patient Information - Advanced Allergy Therapeutics (AAT):
If you are coming for AcuHealth LLC for relief from allergy symptoms (Advanced Allergy Therapeutics treatment), please print out the following four forms, complete them as appropriate, and bring them to your initial appointment.  You should also bring copies of the results of any prior allergy testing that you have had done.

When filling out these forms, please be as specific as possible in regards to what allergies and sensitivities you suspect may be affecting you.  Note particular details such as:

    - "Symptoms appear after I eat [type of food]"
    - "Symptoms appear when I am exposed to [type of substance]"
    - "Symptoms appear when the weather changes"
    - "Symptoms appear when I am in [certain place or room in the house]"
    - Etc.

All of this information will help to pinpoint your specific issues, and may help to reduce the number of treatments needed to resolve the symptoms that you are experiencing. Thank you.  We look forwarding to seeing you!
